a glimpse behind the camera
The Back Story
My name is Henry Paris, and I have been enjoying the what the beautiful MS Gulf Coast has to offer for 5 years now.
Since moving from Chattanooga, TN I have worked for the family business. You might have heard of Beach Lumber, formerly known as Suncoast Contractor Supply, but if not it is a full service lumber yard dedicated to servicing contractors who build high-end homes. We went by Suncoast for the longest time as it was the name of the original yard in Ft. Myers, FL but in May of 2025 we underwent a brand refresh and adopted our actual name and haven’t turned back.
Starting off a lumber puller, I have now helped create the Marketing & Communications position to better help the team get in front of the homes we want to be a part of. It’s a competitive market and everyone seems to have nice products these days. So I’ve put my best foot forward in telling the family’s story to better connect with folks here on the Coast.
It has been so rewarding watching the brand grow in just the last several months and have a desire to help others with the same mission. We all pour everything we have into our business, but often times at the detriment of not telling our own story. We get caught up in the latest trends and seem to vector away from our true selves. In a day and age that rewards authenticity, I want to help you leverage that. What might seem mundane to you could be extraordinarily cool to someone in your market segment. Let’s capture that and have fun doing it.
I create all of my content on a Canon C50 which is a mini cinema rig. Once again, while everyone is quick to post something from their phone - let’s curate something that we are proud of.
I’ve included some of the recent videos and photos on this site, but would love to have less of me and more of our local business included here. By the end of 2026, I am striving to have a coffee table styled look book including all of the shoots from that year. If you want to be included in this project, please feel comfortable reaching out so we can get connected.
